Rolf Kaldrack's Spanish claims?
Hi Guys
Kaldrack was alleged to have made three claims whilst in Spain. Apart from the fact we have no dates for these I am finding it improbable. Firstly he was an observer with KG 88, then with AG 88, it took him a while to pass out as a pilot because of his short-sightedness. Secondly I not at all sure he had the right aircraft. If he did make claims it must be towards the end or middle at earliest of the campaign in Spain. Would anybody happen to know anymore about this early time with the Luftwaffe like Staffel number or anything really. Even during WW2 he it more than a little obscure to me. Kind Regards Johannes
