Photo 8 is interesting. It shows Boston Z2293 coded L, a photo taken c 29 July 42 according to the reverse. This aircraft was Cat 2 FB with 12 Sqn SAAF on 26 June 1942. The AM78 next records an allocation to NAAF dated 1 November 43, plus "arrived 30 November 43". The next entry is a strike on 8 March 44. I accept that this aircraft will have been re-captured following the departure of German forces, but was it really repaired and returned to service?

Regarding Boston Z2293 coded L.
That would then not have been with 12 Squadron SAAF as their last raid with Bostons were 22 December, 1943.
