Gentlemen,
thank you very much in your interest and help to this case! I think that Leendert is right about ME for MEldung, KU for Kampfflugzeug Unterlagen and J as for Jäger (german word for fighter). Anyway, I am still wondering about the aircraft serial numbers of 2Lt. Alfred Q. Carroll and 2Lt. Starling B. PENN. Maybe Ted51 would give the source where he has his data from? Has anyone of you seen a mission report or summary from July 25th, 1944 of 332. FG? Cheers, K.
