Regarding the reduction in training hours for German fighter pilots:
Regarding the reduction in training hours for German fighter pilots:
1/ Which military authorities were responsible for these restrictions? Who issued the official directives ordering these reductions? 2/ Are there any archival documents sent to the fighter pilot training schools requiring an overall reduction in training hours, and specifying exactly which types of training were to be shortened? 3/ Or, on the contrary, were the fighter training schools themselves expected to decide locally how to shorten the training of their student pilots? Sorry—I hope my questions are clear. Merci ! Phil. |

About Kurt Beecken of IV./JG 54.
Hi,
I would appreciate it if someone could help me with the following information: I am looking for his date and place of birth, as well as his date and place of death. I would also like to know when he was taken prisoner. If possible, could you also tell me how many combat missions he flew, either while serving with JG 564 or throughout his entire career as a pilot? Thank you very much. |
