Oberleutnant Josef Kraft Claims in 1944
Hello
Oberleutnant Josef Kraft (56 victories, RK-EL) of 7./NJG 6 made a number of claims, some against the Allied resupply effort during the Warsaw Uprising, in August 1944 through October 1944. I have found information on the majority but online sources are sparse regarding the following. Is information about the crews and their fates of these machines known? 21 August 1944 - Wellington X (LN852) of 40 Sqn, RAF 22 August 1944 - Liberator VI (EW261) of 31 Sqn, SAAF 20 September 1944 - Wellington X (LN498) of 70 Sqn, RAF 13 October 1944 - Wellington X (MF469) of 40 Sqn, RAF Any help will be greatly appreciated.
