If anyone needs a good laugh check out the "Viking Warrior" cover art for his many other self published books

This is no laughing matter. I will be more vigilant in future. These criminals think they can get away with this forever. They think they are printing money. A stop needs to be put on this and similar nonsense.

It's hard to believe they could make any money. Aviation writing isn't exactly a goldmine unless they're finding some new, untapped market.

Re: The DFS 230 Assault: How 80 German Glider Troops Captured the World's Strongest Fortress in May 1940

A common misconception. Too common actually. I've been in book publishing for 45 years. And one always hears about the relatively rare success stories for writers. 'I got a contract with with a large publisher. They paid me an advance.' And the idea that there is no or little money to be made crosses multiple categories.

But back to the issue at hand. There is a way for temporary publishers in temporary locations to crank out a high volume of books like this. The cover art is bad to terrible. The writing equally so. But as long as the math or maths works, then they will do it. The idea I'm proposing is to expose these fraudulent projects as soon as they appear. And to keep on it. People like this have no interest in making an honest living.

Ed, my ‘common misconception’ derives directly from personal experience. Had a lot of fun from researching and writing though.
