By adding the information in the photo caption in the book it might be easier to identify the ac via the crew. The pictured crew was apparently credited with shooting down a P-61 Black Widow on their return from the Atlantic to their base in France. Dogs claimed to have been carried onboard frequently.
Crew said to have survived dangerous missions over the Med, Bay of Biscay ant the Atlantic. |
