For those interested, I belive the former owner has mis-identified the two old surviving monoplanes from before WW 1.

The smaller one ought to be a Grade Eindecker and the bigger one is the Taube. Doubyful if it is an Etrich made version though, looks more like one of those Stahltaube made in Germany at the time. Rumpler was the most prolific builder followed by Jeannin

Ohh, almost forgot, the number of Do 17 in 4D+ markings are simply beautiful. Anyone who can update me with what unit this was?

Has anyone made a research into these markings of the pre-war German units?
