_ at 2140 hrs the Bf 110 G-4 WNr 740209 2Z+DK of 2./NJG 6 force-landed at Sonderhofen, 1 km NW Gelchsheim, after engine problem and was destroyed in hitting a railway bank. The pilot, Ofw August Seeger, was wounded, while both other crew, Uffz Hans Kainzmaier and Gefr Ferdinand Nachiluk, were unhurt

_ at 0115 hrs the Bf 110 G-4 WNr 140032 G9+CR of 7./NJG 1 was shot down by an enemy aircraft and crashed 1 km W Spannum (Holland). The pilot, Uffz Joachim Tank, bailed out wounded, while his two crew, Uffz Günther Schröder and Uffz Heinz Elwers, were killed.

_ during this night (hour unknown) the Ju 88 R-2 WNr 751084 of 2./NJG 2 was lost over sea (no other details on location) during a patrol. All three crew (Hptm Kurt Mölter (pilot (note: name is corrected in 2nd book, Nölter in 1st book), Uffz Günter Hassler and Ogfr Bruno Herlt) were lost.

_ during this night (hour unknown) the Bf 110 G-4 WNr 720258 D5+FK of 2./NJG 3 crashed 5 km ESE Assen (Holland) after an air battle. The pilot, Uffz Horst Kummer, bailed out wounded, while both other crew, Gefr Karl Maibach and Ogfr Johannes Raschig, were killed.

In late May 1944, Fw 190 met at night over France and Belgium were probably from SKG 10, a fighter-bomber unit flying this kind of aircraft usually to attack Great Britain at night, but that was also used for night defence at times in May and June 1944. The other Wilde Sau units (using single-engined fighters at night), JG 300, 301 and 302, were at the time flying less and less night missions, and were becoming normal daylight fighter units, but could also have been involved.
In any case, none of these units did a known claim this night.
