Re: A Me 109 G-6 in Moscow?
Hi Oleg,
Thanks for your latest update; it does accredit the death on the spot of Fw Schlammer. I'm glad to know W.Nr. 411768 will be soon accessible in this new Museum. One of your sentences is tantalizing: were you involved in other 109 wrecks retrieval, as for example the 1992 recovery of 109G-6 W.Nr.410077 which ditched in lake Swiblo? Or the two 109F-4 W.Nr. 10144 and 10256? Any other 109 lying out there waiting to be retrieved? Keep up the great work! Marc |

Re: A Me 109 G-6 in Moscow?
Hi Marc
i well know about Swiblo 109 and about 10144 or 10256 - but I was not involved at those 109. I have on storage 4023, 7622, 13916 and 2023 in restoration. Also some wrecks from different 109 available too. So we search partners for cooperation with restoration all those 109 - for trade, sale-buy some parts and etc. Hope one day we will have flyable 109 near Moscow. Regards Oleg |

Re: A Me 109 G-6 in Moscow?
Hi Oleg,
Whow, a full Schwarm! I can only consider you as a lucky man, with this wealth of my favourite fighter type! I could only trace back W.N.r 2023 and W.Nr. 13916. Will the latter fly one day? What bout the other two 109 E 4023 and 7622? Would you by any chance have items stemming from a Me 109 G-10? Thanks again for your input Marc |

Re: A Me 109 G-6 in Moscow?
Marc,
109G-10 was never flown over Russia - so we never found any one shot down 109G-10. I hope first will fly 2023, next may be 13916 because for G2 we have a lot of wrecks and some drawings too. 4023 was Emil, but 7622 was F4. regards Oleg |

Re: A Me 109 G-6 in Moscow?
Hi Oleg,
Thanks for your precisions; I will have to revise my W.Nr. lists ;-)) Are there any websites where you present your projects? At what stage of rebuilding is 2023? Any tentative schedule for the first flight? I'm aware that no G-10 type ever so action over Russia, but I wondered if you stumbled on any parts of this subtype while exchanging parts... Tried my luck! Cheers Marc |

Re: A Me 109 G-6 in Moscow?
Hi Oleg,
No issue! Looking forward to visit your future website. And thanks for your kind offer! It is true that - in my eyes - the Me 109 G-10 is the most interesting type, closely followed by the G-14 which was so diversified. Given time, I would love to undertake a plane by plane study of all ME 109s which landed on 8 May 1945 in Neubiberg; there is an excellent photo coverage nd it could lead to a perfect case study. Well, after my retirement ;-)) Best regards Marc |
