Re: italian claims on 30 july 1943
Hello Gianandrea,
227 Squadron (four Beaufighters led by W/Cmd Mackenzie) attacked two vessels near Alimnia, off Rhodes, on 28 July and sunk one of the ships. The raid was repeated on 30 July and the wreckage from the raid two days previously was sigthed. No losses was suffered. I don't have any reports of air combat either but my sources could be lacking.
