The following from Appendices III & V to "The War Diaries of Neville Duke" (Grub St., 1995): Duke flew three ZX-J marked Spitfire VIIIs while CO of 145 Sqn: JG241 (Mar.-June 44) 4 claims in May JG953 (Jun-July 44) MT775 (July-Sept. 44) 2 claims on 3 Sept. There is a photo of Duke in the cockpit of the latter aircraft in this book. Regards. Tom Semenza
