I did not say he did not fly it.
I found this on Wikipedia :
Er war bereits ab 1954 einer der Hauptverantwortlichen für den Aufbau der Luftwaffe der Bundeswehr

That means that he already was involved in the new LW and it's probably as a member of the Bundesluftwaffe that he flew the S-14.
