No such a tradition in the world armed forces and no so simple rules who is Red Force, who is Blue Force in the military manoeuvres. For example in the UK military tradition, dated pre-WWI, Red Force defended island and the Blue were invaders. To be closer to present time in 2004 during "Cope Thunder" air force exercise the Reds were defenders, the Blue Force was an aggressor.
