Lt.Felix Hach 15/05/1940
Hi !
Which was the plane used by Lt.Felix Hach for his last flight on 15/05/1940 ? He was initially buried at Thorembais (Belgium). Is it possible that he was from 1.(H)/ 23 ? Many thanks and best regards Luc |

Re: Lt.Felix Hach 15/05/1940
Hello Luc,
1.(H)/23 Henschel Hs126. Shot down during observation sortie north of Gembloux and believed crashed between Perwez and Orbais. Possibly that claimed by F/O Horne of No. 615 Squadron 4.00 p.m. Lt K-H. Küster and Lt F. Hach killed. Aircraft a write-off. |

Lt.Felix Hach 15/05/1940
Dear Peter,
Many thanks for your reply. As always top-quality information ! Is it possible that Lt.Küster is mentioned as Lt.Hermann Küster on the Volksbund website and that he died a few days later, on 19/05/1940 (buried at the German War Cemetery Lommel) ? Many thanks again and best regards Luc |

Re: Lt.Felix Hach 15/05/1940
Hello Luc,
Yes - the same man. Lt d R Karl Hermann Küster born 25.1.1911 in Berlin. I was not aware that he had survived the crash and will amend my data. Thanks, Peter |
