Re: FW 190 Giessen/Germany Area 1944 ?
I would tend to agree with Erich, Definatly not a Dora as there is no fuselage lengthening plug. On the outside it could be a Sturmstaffel 1 A series...But in looking at this I can't make out a small White border line on the Outside edges of the Geschwader ID Band that is Black White Black. SS1 Bird's had a thin white edge line on either side of the fuselage band, And also I cant see any armour plating in cockpit area which leads me to beleive this is a JG4 Aircraft.
So I say JG4 A series FW, Definatly not a Dora. Kevin I wish I had Mombeeks Sturmjäger book! I will as soon as released in the English Language...I Cant Wait!!!! Save up the $$$ for it's release in the near future.
