Uffz. Willi Piontek III/SG10

Any information about this pilot appreciated. What is known he flew in combat from Spring of 1943 untill the wars end, flying over 110 ground attack missions. On 7th Oct.1944 he shot down a R-5 biplane I do not know if he had any other victories or what staffel he served with,

Thanks

My impression is that victory claims for SG units is quite incomplete. I am therefore interested in learning how "Greifswald III" can be certain that this was Piontek's only claim.

Well, yes, it is true (I have some claims of the SG 2 SG 10 and NSGr 7 from the end of the war, which I found in the BA-MA in genuine documents, but the pilot names are uncertain)
