OT-ish : Question for dora9forever

Dora9forever,

In the short time you've been a member of TOCH! you've turned out to be a prolific contributor of our forum. However since this is a public forum I might as well ask this question right here, at least it might save some unnecessary explaining later on.

So to cut the story short: is there any reason why you write your posts the way you do?!

No offence intended, just that enquiring minds need to know...

Re: OT-ish : Question for dora9forever

Okay Gary thanks, but let me put that differently.

I understand you are an enthusiast, but I am actually asking a question about your "writing" and "typing".

Like now you've written in CAPS with a period and comma where you wouldn't expect them.

Although I am not someone to point out spelling and grammatical errors or even mistakes in punctuation (make plenty of those myself) you've clearly developed a whole new style of your own.

Now I'd love to know if there is a special reason for you to write in this manner.

Like I wrote before no offence intended, but as host and moderator I'd like to know.

Re: OT-ish : Question for dora9forever

Hi Gary

If I may add my tuppence worth - don't let anything dampen your obvious enthusiam. In my opinion we need more input on whatever level to keep the interest in WWII history progressing, as it fortunately seems to be. We aim for more and more answers to our questions, and if not answers, then enthusiastic opinions. After all, many of those gallant gentlemen who could perhaps otherwise provide first-hand accounts are falling rapidly by the wayside.

Great stuff - keep it up.
Cheers
Brian
