But it could be the fact that it was repaired at a messerschmitt repair facility , some FW 190D-9 , were picked up at the the end of the war to such facility .

Erik, David,

Karl Pawlas lists
hdt as Märkischer Metallbau, Oranienburg, Bernaustr. 34 b
maw as G. Basser K.-G., Flugzeugreparaturwerkstätten, Zwickau/Sachsen.
Can’t make sense of the other numbers.

MAny thanks for the markers , that makes sense now .

Do you have the whole list of markers , I have a partial one build from reseraches to researches , but not the complete one .

Hello Eric,

You really should buy “Liste der fertigungskennzeichen für Waffen, Munition und Gerät”by Karl Pawlas. He spent 20 years compiling these codes. Those that he did not find will probably remain a mystery forever.
If you need some more decoded just send me a pm.
