Lt Woody J. Cochran

Somebody can tell me in which unit served Lt Woody J. Cochran. He was a native Indian Cherokee from Oklahoma and was a bomber pilot in the Pacific area. Apparently he earned the Silver Star, the Air Medal and the D.F.C.

Thanks for your help.
