353rd FG, P-47 SN #42-25730, Lost may 22nd, 1944
Hi all,
I´m looking for more informations about the lost of Jack Terzian, shot down in his P-47 by a german fighter from the JG11 on may, 22nd 1944. The MACR is 5101. Did anybody know something about the german Pilots Uffz. Kirschner or Uffz. Schuch from the 3. JG11 or the 1. JG 11 ?

Hi,
353 FG 351 FS attacked with bombs a marshalling yards at Liège and, the mission completed, in the outskirts of this city the aircraft of Lt Jack Terzian was hit by Flak (a 20 mm hits in his motor). He tried to gain the coast, but he had to crash land at Letterhoutem, N.W. of Brussels. He was captured, but evaded with other allied airmen in September 44 at Brussels from the "Phantom Train". Rgds
