No, there is an educated group which is knowledgeable about flying and aviation and thousands of morons who watch pictures.

What has this to do with this thread? I assume that you have elevated yourself to the "educated group"? BTW, I don´t care for pictures. But neither do I care about static museum aircraft. I have been thrice to the FinnAF museum and every time I spent more time in their library reading maintenance manuals, pilot manuals and so on than watching those derelict static airframes. Static displays make as much as sense as displays of fine paintings tightly wrapped so one can´t see the the image itself.
