Karl-Fritz Schlossstein - JG5 and JG54 aircraft

Hello Everyone!!

I hope that someone can help refer me to a source for any identifiable aircraft that was flown by Karl-Fritz Schlossstein of JG 5 and JG 54.

Does anyone have any information on any of his aircraft or can someone point out a reference source in any book?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Mark, Hauptmann KFS flew the Me/Bf 110, code LN + TR from June 1941 till November 1943 and was Staffelkapitän of the 13.(Z)/JG 5 in Kirkenes/Norway. From December 1943 till the end of war he served in different squadrons:

He was Kommandeur of II./ZG 76, where he flew the Me 410, later Kommandeur of IV./JG 54, where he flew missions with a Fw 190 A-8 at the Oderfront.

KFS shot down 8 aircrafts, 4 Russian and 4 British and all with the Me 110.

Do you have a list of Schloßstein's claims? In Eric Mombeek's history of JG 5, I only find four confirmed (3 Soviet & 1 British) as well as 2 Soviets unconfirmed and another damaged.

Karl-Fritz Schlossstein (KFS) aerial victories. I must correct: 6 Russian and 2 British aircrafts. In the Abschussliste, see attached file, are not remarked 3 victories, but from which he has the combat reports

April 28, 1941: Bristol Blenheim, location Loshavn, Farsund/Lister in 150 ft.

September 9, 1941: Polikarpow I-15, location Kandalakscha/Karelien, in 1.500 ft.

September 9, 1941: Polikarpow I-153, same location, same height.

Victories vs. Russians: I-15, I-16, I-153, SB-3, MiG-3
Victories vs. British: Blenheim, Albacore
