Dear Richard, now you have a PM from me. In the Time i got this News about Lt. Wood:
"Lt. Wood was reported missing in action for a year and presumed to have died on June 29, 1944, when he disappeared after his P-51 Mustang fighter developed engine trouble over Giessen, Germany, and he started back to the English base. His more than 200 combat flying hours had won for him the Air Medal with several clusters" Greetings Peglar |
