Re: Bf109 losses - Alamein area.
I have Hurricanes over the sands and it is quite good. Several errors in 'Fighters over the sands' are duplicated.
A tyicall one was the main reason for this Post. Both Shores and Lavigne say that 'although the claiming pilots of 127 saw their victims crash, what they actually saw were Hurricanes of 33 Squadron shot down by 109's in the same dogfight' Remi has suggested that JG27 lost 5 aircraft that day.? However it is quite good with several eye witness accounts. I bought mine direct from Ian Allen Publishing.
