My face is very red, Peter, but mea culpa, I must confess to erroneous reporting in the instance of Dietrich Hrabak and Heinz Stegmann's service with I./JG 76 (later II./JG 54). According to personal letters and a conversation with Dietrich Hrabak at a Geschwadertreffen at Memmingen, Germany, I have the following info which is congruent with yours and, I believe, with E. Obermaier: Dietrich Hrabak - Gr.Adj. I./JG 76, 1 Jul. 1938-31 Mar. 1939 - Stkp. 1./JG 76, 1 Apr. 1939-ca. 15 Aug. 1940 Heinz Stegmann - Gr.Adj.
