The 14th FG had five total loss on that engagement vs 8 German and 2 (total 10) Hungarian claims. From the German side, the I./JG 302, II./JG 27, II./ZG 1 and III./ZG 26 claimed the planes.
I approx know, who shot down who really, but just approximately (the busy dogfights are always problematic). Regarding that book check the books and magazines topic, I wrote some notes about that.

I have a fair amount of 15th AF literature, but could not find much about this particular mission. I think "Hungarian Aces" is a worthy addition to my library,but just like any publication, one has to check the veracity of the text. Carlos
