Yes it is. IIRC the effective date of promotion was the same for his Polish porucznik and RAF Flying Officer promotions (1 September 1941), but the announcement date was different. You can look it up in the article I mentioned ("Dziubek u Kosynierow" by W. Matusiak, pt. 1 in "Lotnictwo" 4/2006, pt. 2 in 6/2006).
