Yes it does. Not what I like to see but it happens during recoveries. By the way it has nothing to do with this Ju87 recovery - the pilot was a Russia who was recovered from his Hurricane in the arctic tundra. Won't go into details but the coroner was amazed at his preservation. The Il-2 recovery on a Russian site listed a page or two back has the soviet pilot being rolled out of the puddle but nothing shown thankfully. If you like tanks/military vehicles you need to go through the listed years.some amazing tank recoveries - T34, Stug3, KV-1, half tracks - nearly all from Eastern Europe. Amazing time capsules some of these and not surprising there are teams looking for Tiger I's which supposedly will get the asking price of 1million $ if complete! regards Mark |
