Village Inn

"Village Inn" blind fire gun-laying radar was carried on some Lancasters. Did it achieve any successes? What was the max effective range of the Browning in a turret? And of the 20mm? I presume the Lincoln never fire in anger at aircraft, but only strafed Mau Maus, Malays and the Stern Gang.
