Reschke's Ta-152\Mitchell's Tempest

Hi there, could anyone help me regarding the markings of Willi Reschke's Ta-152 April 14th when he shot down a Hawker Tempest? I don't believe it was green 9, but yellow 1 he flew but I dont know anything about the camo scheme or stab markings.
I'm also looking for marking info on Mitchell's Tempest who he shot down.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Reschke's Ta-152\Mitchell's Tempest

I know W.Reschke's 'Flugbush' survive the war, unfortunately i never saw it and thus cant tell you what is recorded inside... I only know that he flew his last six missions (Nb 811 on the 13th of March 45 up to Nb 816) with Stab./JG301.

Indeed from unknown source i noted that he flew "White 1" on 14th of April.

Note also that it was actually probably "1+ -" with the horizontal bar painted blue if the aircraft was part from Stab or yellow if the aircraft was borrowed from III./JG301...

That's all i know...

Olivier.

Jerry Crandall is working on JG 301 so more could be expected in the future...

White one is recorded from D.H's effort on the Tank via Schiffer

I am in contact with Willi now so will let you all know soon. I would not be so quick on the gruppe bars on the Tanks Oliver and yes Jerry will have JG 301 markings done up in his future Dora volumes

Re: Reschke's Ta-152\Mitchell's Tempest

Thank you Erich and Olivier, you've both been extremely helpful! I keep reading it was either 'white 1' 'green 1' or 'black 13' but to get the definitve answer from Willi himself would be superb.

best regards,

Gareth

Hi Guys,
Willi Reschke never flew a Ta 152 with "Black 13" or "Green 1".On April 14 1945 he flew " White 1" and claimed a Tempest. This was his first flight after joining the Stabsschwarm of JG 301. Gareth, I sent you an e-mail answering your questions.
Hope this helps, cheers, Jerry

Jerry,

I know you´re a close friend of W.R. but there´s something strange. I´m in touch with him, we have visited him twice in Germany and he visited us here in Banov, Czech Republic, where he got the chance to see a spot of his crash landing from Aug. 29, 1944.
When I asked him which TA´s he flew, he said white 1 and 2, green 1 and 9 and black 13. Can send you a copy of his letter. If you wish contact me at

Best regards
