Indeed, it should be a 'must' for those interested in this lesser known topic.

I've been in touch with Christian a while ago, and now I am please to see his detailed research being published.

But what happened to the Eastern Front part of the story?

I think the answer is that Christian realised at some stage just what a huge task it would be to tell the whole story of the Nachtschlachtgruppen on all fronts, and how many years it would take to research and write.

You may be correct but perhaps we can hope that there is a volume 2 in the future. Since the book is based upon his doctoral thesis, does anyone know if that was only limited to the West. Perhaps Christian can comment himself.
