Bill,
I understand completely. Of the 27 aces we had, there are 4 known to be alive. Myself and Barrie Davis in relatively decent health, one who no longer responds to Emails or letters, and one who for many years has apparently been hanging on the edge. So yes, I understand and it grieves me greatly to see that so many fine gentlemen with whom I had the pleasure of flying in the Big One have taken off on their last flight.
