Re: Bf 110 WNr. 720082
Hello all,
I though I would bring this plea for help back one more time and offer a little more data. Hopefully, the fact that Bf 110 G-4, WNr. 720082 has 43 kill markings on its starboard fin may evoke interest in some of you night fighter folks. Most appear to be roundels and may be British? Its Werknummer is located on the upper part of its starboard rudder. Sadly, there are no other identifiable aircraft, buildings, or other items in the background that might help locate it. Any ideas out there? Steve Sheflin |

Re: Bf 110 WNr. 720082
Obviously from the Stab of IV./NJG 6. Could be be Fellerer who I have 'officially' listed with 41. After that you have Bahr at 37 or Luetje at 50.

Re: Bf 110 WNr. 720082
Hi Steve,
This aircraft, <<2Z+MF, was certainly Martin Bekker's aircraft. The tail photo is clear enough to read the dates under each victory bar and symbol and match exactly with Tino's claims. You might check out the article that myself, Dave Johnston and Jim Crow did in an issue of the Luftwaffe Verband where we go into considerable detail on the topic. Regarding location, something tells me that it was found at Neubiberg, perhaps a pilot's recollection of something similar I recorded in my notes. Cheers, David |

Re: Bf 110 WNr. 720082
Time to revive an old topic again: I recently came across the attached photo of <<2Z+MF and would like to ask if anything new is known about the location of this plane yet.
Also, can someone please re-post the photo of it where the Werknummer is readable or the article David had mentioned? It's an interesting aircraft indeed... Re: Bf 110 WNr. 720082
Hi, would anybody happen to know the colour of the M in the code.
Would it be blue for the IV/Gruppe? Steve. |

Re: Bf 110 WNr. 720082
I am currently researcing this aircraft having recently purchased some Bf 110 photos. Three images look very similar to this aircraft, though I have not concluded with complete certainty yet that they are of Beckers Bf. The location, yet to be confirmed, has been indicated as Ingolstadt.
