Info. requested on P/O N. DUGDALE, RAFVR No. 1677300
Dear Colleagues
I'm hoping that some of you will be able to help me with information/photos of P/O N. DUGDALE, RAFVR No. 1677300. For example, what was his Christian name? How long was he with 611 Sqn? The following is all I have based upon 137s ORB. He was posted into 137 Squadron on 3rd March 1943 from 59 OUT. On April 4th 1943, whilst flying in P7002 on his first operation and as part of a formation of 8 Whirlwinds flying at sea level P/O Dugdale hit the sea. He successfully ditched his aircraft off Dungeness and was rescued 5 minutes later by ASR Launch! On May 22nd 1943 P/O Dugdale was posted out of 137 and into 611 Squadron. From September 23rd 1942 until July 1st 1943 611 Squadron were flying Spitfire IXs and LFVbs out of Matlaske in Norfolk. I also know from CWGC that he was not listed as a casualty. Thank you all in advance for your help. Paul |

Hello Paul,
Try this automatic Google-search on the exact name of "N Dugdale" If you put a "in front of a name and " after it, Google gives you what it knows. I haven't researched the search results - that's up to you. Regards, Bart |
