Do17 emblem

This is the hitherto little-publicised emblem of Stabstaffel KG2 the characteristic nose-band of KG2 also being evident in the photograph. The device was carried on both sides of the nose. The actual aircraft concerned was the U5+EA down at Wickham Brook on 23.8.1940 - Oberlt. Heinrich HELLMERS and his crew all being captured.
