Nachtjagdkette Führerkurierstaffel

On the night 27. April 1944 the Nachtjagdkette FKS lost the Staffelkapitän
Hptm. (RK) Walter Bornstein near Schweinfurt. Hptm. Bornstein attacked the Lancaster ND 853 from No. 106 Sqdn. The Tailgunner from the Lanc and Hptm. Bornstein open fire at the same moments, and both plane go down. Only two members from ND 853 go safe. The Ju 88 with Hptm. Bornstein and this other Crewmembers StFw. Wilhelm Steurer and Fw. Josef Schmitz crashed 200 meters away from Flakbatterie 2./482

The Nachtjagdkette has 3 Ju 88 with SN-2 but no "Schräge Musik" and 3 Fw 190 for "Wilde Sau".
The problem was, that the crews where not really trained for Nightmissions and they was not incooperated with the Jägerleitsystem.

It looks like Hptm. Bornstein fought an private war with RAF Bomber Command, he was a former KG 2 Observer and become Flugzeugführer in late 1942.

As the NVM tells nothing about the Kennung and Werknummer from the Ju 88, I look for this information to complete my resarch (Have photos and other details from Nachtjagdkette FKS)
