Hi Mike,
thank you very much! I found an entry in Millers "Fighter units & Pilots of the 8.AF", listed as KIA. But without the usual Serial Number... The circumstances of his loss are mentioned in McLarens 56.FG unit history, but again, nothing about a Serial or a MACR number. Further there's no P-47 loss mentioned in the KU-list for 28.09.1944 Maybe one of these MACR from 15xxx? Regards Heuser
