Re: Making available an archive of NVMs and research materials wanted on the Polish Campaign.
You just don't get it do you, Franek. Larry has got shit all to do with any squabbles in Poland or Polish. He simply requests help on a particular subject, outwith anything that has gone on between two people. It's no more complicated than that.
As for the other point. Well, I keep all my e-mails, and here, verbatim, is where you tell me to fuck off: John You wrote the following. *Yes, and some Polish prick did that to a joint work that I did with another researcher/author - lifted parts of our book, translated them into Polish, then back into poor English, and didn't even have the courtesy to contact me about it (I was the Publisher!) Of course it's not the original manual. The original manual was printed during the Third Reich years! Do you think I'm fuckin' stupid! If I (or any other author) quote from an official wartime document, we don't claim those sentences/paragraphs as our own copyright. *I just would like to note that in my opinion you are going too far with regard of nationality. One point, I am not sure to which work you refer, but if to the one of Marek J. Murawski, then be awared he is a representative of the German minority in Poland. So, fuck off from the Poles. I have set on bold what I posted, and I have underlined your reply to me by e-mail. So, as you see, you did tell me to fuck off. My comment about Kagero was not a generalisation about all Poles, and well you (and everyone else) know it if you read the text in bold above. The person I refer to is he who must by now hold the world record for writing books about the Luftwaffe. Franek, I have no problem with you telling me to fuck off. I've dished the same out many times myself, so I have no problem with that. All I would like to see is that you forget about the other person, and deal with Larry on a one-to-one basis to help his project. Can you do that? Help another genuine researcher, and someone who has contributed a great deal to this Forum over a long period of time? I hope you can do so. My best to you, Franek, never change, mate!
