Does anyone know the date of promotion of Arthur C. Fiedler, Jr. to 1st Lt and also to Capt? Any help is appreciated.

Well, I am interested in US Aces and unfortunately the data and details about them are not mentioned by Frank Olynyk in his book Stars and Bars.Any respons would be highly appreciated

I was commissioned as a 2nd Lt on 28 July 1943
I was promoted to 1st Lt. on 5 July 1944 I was promoted to Capt on 28 December 1944 I trust the above is the information you were seeking? Cordially, Art Fiedler

Yes indeed, there was a very detailed article about Art Fiedler written by Michal Plavec, not in REVI, but in HPM, No. 12/2007 (pages 38 - 46) and 1/2008 (pages 35 - 40). A very nice reading, unfortunately in Czech language only.
