Hi Peter, Frank,
the only numbers I found are shown on 2 pics (661 and 662) I already posted. The length of the prop is 180 cm. The seller told be he bought it from a farmer and the father of the farmer found it close to an German airfield in South Germany called Lechfend). Hi...
Not sure it would be from a German aircraft, given that it seems to have a yellow blade tip (can't quite make out for certain). I can't say the Luftwaffe never painted their propellor tips, but it would be a very rare occurance in my experience. The only ones that I can recall off-hand that did have painted propellor tips were some of the larger seaplanes. Regards... |
