Hello,
Robert is right, the red (?) shield with white cross observed in ECPA photos in Poland was 7./StG2. I have or know of nearly a dozen other photos during the PC and FC showing this version of the emblem on Ju87Bs, and all of them are on a/c of 7 Staffel. The aircraft code, T6+_R, is visible on a number of them, and 7 Staffel is the only staffel in III./StG2 that has not previously had the staffel emblem published. The white shield/black cross is apparently the Geschwader emblem. I had the colors of the cross/shield confused in my mind. Sorry for the comment on the artwork without doing my research properly. Anyway, what everyone learned from this is the so far "missing" and unpublished (correctly) Staffel insignia for 7./StG2. Regards,
