Re: remains of Mosquito PZ174 recovered

In addition to the previous post:

The two 500 lb bombs were recovered, the first one only 1,5 meters deep, and therefore found much sooner than anticipated. Aircraft parts are in good condition, well preserved by the clay. Some human remains were recovered too (Source: kapt. ing. Paul Petersen, the Airforce officer in charge of the operation), but most were recovered and buried shortly after the crash.
