Would be interested in any information on Sneum flying Mossies and the squadron no of the 2 Spits and 2 Hurricanes that met OY-DOK in Endland. My information indicate a RCAF Spitfire squadron.

Mikkel,

In your biography of Thomas Sneum it says that he joined the Royal Norwegian Air Force and that he flew Mosquitoes. Does 334 (Norwegian) Squadron come into focus then?

On a Danish website I also read that he was in one of the first RAF (Mosquito?) squadrons that was stationed in Denmark after Germany's surrender in May 1945.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have been through the 333 Sqn ORB without any mentioning of Sneum. 334 might be the case, but the sources seems to suggest a RAF rather than a RNAF squadron.

I am not aware of any Mosquito squadrons posted in Denmark in May 1945, but - I need to stress - that may only be a deep hole in my knowledge.
