22.03 hrs 01/11/41 : 7/KG40 Heinkel III [H-6] 4430 coded F8+KR en route Liverpool downed P/O Shipard/Oxby Beaufighter X7540 over Anglesey. 4 crew all KIA : Lt G. Leins; Uffz A Tepe; Uffz G Fischer; Gefr R Terstegen.
08/11/41 FW-200 3/KG40 described by Chris (above) attacking convoy OG76 location Western Approaches. Fighters were Martlets. 12/11/41 : Do-217 4/KG40 lost shipping strike east coast - also described by Chris' post above thought the dates might be useful. No further KG40 losses for Nov 41 in the UK far as I can see. Several KG40 losses December '41 though.
