Alan,

Cant help with your main question but the Home office report on the raid gives Greenock as the area hardest hit. It also gives the following Key Points as being hit John Brown & Co. Clydebank, King George V Dock Glasgow, Greenock Power Station, a storge facility at Distillers Co. Ltd. Ardgowan, and ICI Ltd at Ardeer and Irvine,
