A-26-B-15-DT Serial No. 43-22389

Hi all!
I'm doing investigations about crashes of aircrafts in my area in Germany and I need your help to clear a mystery. I've got a picture of a type plate of a A-26-B-15-DT Invader with the Serial No. 43-22389. It should have been lost over southern Germany but I can't find any advice in relation to a MACR for this aircraft and its crew.
Who can give me more information about this Invader.

Thanks again in advance for all your help fand support.

Re: A-26-B-15-DT Serial No. 43-22389

Are you sure the aircraft was shot down during the war?

It is possible that it could have crashed or been scrapped postwar in Germany, re: no MACR.

Regards,
Mike

Joe Baugher's serial number web site doesn't have this specific aircraft, but many of this batch (43-22350/22399) did survive the war, to be scraped, lost in Korea or become civil registered aircraft.

Hi Mike!
No idea about the date of the loss, I know only that the plane should have been shot down or lost in the northern part of Bavaria. It's a mystery.
I've attached the picture of the plate.

Thanks for all help and support

Norbert
