Re: News from Greece
An accident happened at 01.06.43 in Marathon near Athens, a Ju 88 crashed.
Two members of the crew were Herbert Meyer and Friedel .........(?) The discribtion from the Flugbuch is as follows: Flugübung zum Bombenwerfen, Start Kalamaki 07.36 h, abgestürzt da beim Abfangen Heck abgebrochen. It has to be a plane of 1. St./Erg.Gr.St.G. 3 but not for sure does the Werk-Nr. tells us anything more? Names, unit, code? Last edited by byron-; 12th February 2009 at 14:16.
