I assume the son of General Hans Jeschonnek Nikolaus was killed on 05.08.43 with JG52. Maybe it was one point for the Jeschonnek suicide?

According to Lipfert's diary, Nicolaus was a nephew "only". Who can clarifiy?

One of the tradegies of the Carganico family is that General Victior Carganico Horst's father and WWI hero was executed by the soviets whilst in captivity in 1945. http://109lair.hobbyvista.com/walkar...0132/10132.htm

I believe another Carganico went on to become Major General in the post war Bundeswehr.
