Very nice, although I have a different view of this aircraft (than the one you originally posted) showing what's left of the rudder being Yellow,

Cheers,
Chris

Re: FW190 bulk questions

Many, if not all, of the aircraft mentioned previously are pictured on this site:

Re: FW190 bulk questions

Chris,

I have check out all images of the captured planes from the site mention above and find another image of black 6/ white 70. Here you are:

As you can see it does not have yellow rudder but camouflage and style of mottle are differ from side to side [larger on port side]. But you are right and other planes from units very possible have yellow rudder [or maybe light blue]

Another image which interest me is this one:

Any idea about the place and unit?

Cheers

Of course, you're right - now I'm back at home and have the prints to hand, it appears it has no yellow rudder

The second picture, Yellow 12+- of 6./SG10 was photographed at Neubiberg.

II./SG10 aircraft I've positively ID'ed at Neubiberg were marked:

6./SG10: Yellow 1+-, 2+-, 11+-, 12+-, 13+-, 14+-

Interesting points are Yellow 11+-, WNr 681330, was an Fw 190A-8 fitted with a F-type R1 wing and 11+-, 12+- and 13+- all had previous unit markings overpainted (III. gruppe 7+| for Yellow 11+-, unknown for 12+- and 13+-). Yellow 2+- had a dark rudder (poss. in a primer?)

Stab.II./SG10: Green <<+-, <o+- (an Fw 190F-9, WNr 440401)

I probably have more if I dig deeper into my files, but it's getting late and these tired old eyes need a rest!

Cheers,
Chris

Re: FW190 bulk questions

Did anyone notice that photo 22 of 2+- black seemes to have an 8 digit werk number? It looks like 6380 1021 or 1027 or possibly 1121/1127.

Re: FW190 bulk questions

This is my attempt to reconstruct the look of yellow 12. Everything is optional and this plane look to be very fade colors and only fresh color is dark spot [overpaint of old unit markings? ]

Any info about this two machines? I promise no more questions, maybe I boring too much...

Cheers
